Laura Blossom is an actress and singer born in Zaragoza.
She trained as a child in the disciplines of singing, ballet and piano. After graduating in Art History, she moved to Madrid to train professionally in acting, singing and dance.
She has experience in musicals («Dumbo», dir. Jesús Sanz Sebastián), theater («Como Nosotros», dir. Ezequiel Tronconi), and audiovisual productions («Recalculando Ruta», dir. Laura Arnaiz). She has also developed her career as a singer in jazz ensembles.
In 2019, she ventured into theater directing with «Un marido de ida y vuelta» by Jardiel Poncela, winning the Best Play Award and receiving a Nomination for Best Direction at the UPM University Theater Festival.
Two years later, she founded the theater company Icarus Actores to retake the staging of Poncela’s play, premiering at Teatro de las Aguas Madrid in June 2021.

Her latest production, Intimidad, is a project in which she directs and performs as an actress. This play is developed through experimentation and actor improvisation, seeking to immerse the audience intimately in the emotions shared by the leading couple.
Currently, Laura Blossom is involved in several projects in Zaragoza and Madrid: Musicales de Película with Noel Redolar, Cantábile with Gorka Gómez, and Peter Pan with Candileja Producciones.
About Icarus Actores, the theater Company was founded in March 2021 as a result of a group of young actors' need to create and produce theater in challenging times for Arts.
The origins of Icarus Actores trace back to Grupo de Teatro Dédalo. In 2019, Dédalo embarked on the production of «Un marido de ida y vuelta» for the UPM University Theater Festival, where it won the Best Play Award. In 2021, Icarus revived this production, premiering it at Teatro de las Aguas in Madrid.
In 2023, Icarus Actores and Grupo de Teatro Dédalo worked together to produce «Intimidad», an original idea and directed by Laura Blossom.
En cuanto a Icarus Actores, la compañía nace en marzo de 2021, como resultado de una necesidad de un grupo de jóvenes actores, de crear y producir teatro en unos tiempos tan complicados para el arte.
Los orígenes de Icarus se enmarcan en Grupo de Teatro Dédalo. En 2019, Dédalo se aventura en el montaje de “Un marido de ida y vuelta” para el Certamen de Teatro Universitario de la UPM, resultando la obra ganadora de Premio a Mejor Obra. En 2021, Icarus retoma este montaje, estrenando en el Teatro de las Aguas de Madrid.
En 2023 Icarus Actores y Grupo de Teatro Dédalo vuelven a juntarse para producir “Intimidad”, obra creada y dirigida por Laura Blossom.
