Laura Blossom

«Un Marido de Ida y Vuelta» has been selected as Best Play at the XXVIII UPM University Theater Festival. 

Its director, Laura Blossom, who is also nominated for Best Direction in this Jardiel Poncela's play, considers the award a true gift:

It was a great surprise and represents a recognition of our learning, effort, and the creativity and talent of my teammates in bringing this work to life.

Javier Brenan has been nominated for Best Leading Actor, and the rest of the cast includes Almudena Sepúlveda, Alberto Herrero, Pedro Torguet, Carmen María, Fran Lorenzo, Rialta Martínez, Lourdes Román, Santiago Simone, Andrea Maquedano, Manuel Puertas and César Giménez. 

Dédalo is more than just a theater group; it’s a family. For over a decade, its members have balanced university studies with their shared passion for the stage. During this time, they have brought countless stories to life, always seeking to engage and connect with their audience. The UPM Theater Festival is an event they attend each year with great enthusiasm. That is why this recognition gives them renewed motivation to keep moving forward and to continue strengthening their bonds as a group.
