Laura Blossom

«Un Marido de Ida y Vuelta» has been selected as Best Play at the XXVIII UPM University Theater Festival. 

Its director, Laura Blossom, who is also nominated for Best Direction for this work by Jardiel Poncela, considers the award a true gift:

It was a big surprise and represents a recognition of our learning, effort, and of the creativity and talent of my fellow cast members in bringing this play to life.

Javier Brenan has been nominated for Best Leading Actor, and the rest of the cast includes Almudena Sepúlveda, Alberto Herrero, Pedro Torguet, Carmen María, Fran Lorenzo, Rialta Martínez, Lourdes Román, Santiago Simone, Andrea Maquedano, Manuel Puertas and César Giménez. 

Dédalo is more than just a big family. For over a decade, this group has managed to balance their university studies with their other great passion: Theater. Throughout the years, they have shared stories on stage, always striving to engage the audience and earn their complicity. The UPM festival is an event they attend with great enthusiasm, which is why this recognition gives them a strong boost to keep moving forward and to strengthen the bonds within the group.
