Singer Laura Blossom has won First Award at the 2nd Corita Viamonte Spanish Music Competition thanks to her emotional rendition of Y, ¿si fuera ella?, by Alejandro Sanz. The competition was held this Sunday at the Luis Buñuel Senior Community Center in Zaragoza and brought together ten contestants in its final round.
The contest, organized by the Casco Histórico District Council, once again highlighted Spanish-language music in a day marked by talent and a wide diversity of styles. Among the finalists, second place went to Juan Marcos Fernández and Ana Blasco for their performance of Cariño, while Nuria Tejero completed the podium with her version of Miedo by M-Clan.
One of the most special moments of the event was the participation of Corita Viamonte herself as a member of the jury, adding extra value to a competition that continues to strengthen its presence on the cultural calendar of Zaragoza’s Casco Histórico.
With this second edition, the Corita Viamonte Spanish Music Competition reaffirms its commitment to supporting artists and promoting musical culture in one of the city’s most historic neighborhoods.
